Watch Quick Time Video Watch Flash Video Dennis from Mexico Movies submitted this video of interviews that some youth ministry students recorded. In this video, the students are asking people in Mexico what they believe about God. There is one error in translation in this video. In the beginning of the interview of the young lady she starts out by saying not that she believes in God like life but instead she says that in her family they are Catholics. The third person interviewed had a response that I have become accustomed to receiving here in the states. It seems many people just don't think God is for them. I think this may be in part because of the other question asked him: "What do you think about church?". God and church aren't the same. One doesn't believe God because he goes to church. I think it is important to note that the God of many churches and church attenders is very often not the God mentioned in the Bible.
The young lady interviewed made a statement I found interesting. She mentions that to some people God can exist. I don't understand how if one person believes in God and another doesn't that that can equal God exists to one and not the other. God either exists or does not exist. And God's existence is not the direct result of man's believing in that existence.

I like how serious the interviewees take the question (except for the last guy, he didn't really seem interested). I'm glad people have thought about God, even if they don;t like the idea of God much or even don't believe in God. They take the question seriously, and I'm glad for that. I'm not sure why...
